The countdown to my weekend scrap retreat is on!!

Only 5 more days to go!! WOO HOO!!! I am so excited! I really haven't had the time to scrap lately so I am really looking forward to having so much time to do it. 48 hours of non stop scrappin!!! I don't plan on sleeping much!! Everything is packed up and ready to go. Just need the time to go by so that I can be on my way!

Now the only dilemma I am having is that I have way too many pictures. I have almost 126 pages to do for my Disney book. I have them all organized in the page protectors with coordinating papers and embellishments. I figured the more organized I am now, the more I will get done there. Since I have so much to do, I need to be prepared as much as possible. Anyways, I think I need to split them up and make two books. Something that i really don't want to do. I like when people can look at one of your books in one showing and see your entire trip in a whole. I am not too happy about that and now I need to look for another album. That should be fun!! Took forever for me to find the one I have now. I should just check into getting a second one of the one I have. Wish me luck finding it!!

More shopping and piture dilema!

OK, so I was able to find the in Stich'z from http://www.embellishonline.com/. I am so excited!! I have been wanting them for so long with no luck. Well, most places have them, but not the ones that I wanted.

Last night I decided to start organizing the pictures I want to do for my Disney book while at my crop next month. I narrowed my pics for each LO and started putting them into the sleeves of my book. So here comes the problem. The book had an original 20 pages. I added about 30 more and guess what? I haven't even used up 1/2 of my pictures and I am out of sleeves. This is going to be a HUGE book. I need to go buy about 4 more packs maybe even more. We took almost 3,000 pictures while there and I want to show everything. So, how do you narrow down your pics when you have so many? Usually I only do 2-3 pics of something but since I am making a book just for this trip, I want everything in it. Have you ever gotten carried away and scrapped everything?? What did you do to simplify your book. Any ideas would be helpful.

Alcohol Inks

This is was my first attemp to use alcohol inks. It took a little bit of playing before I got the hang of it. Now that I figured it out, I plan on dapping everything with them.

Pumpkin Patch!!

These are from our trip to our local pumpin patch.

Cedar Point

This is a LO of our trip to Cedar Point last summer.

Circus Time!!

These are from the circus last year. I found the cutest circus rub ons that went great with the paper I had.

What would you do????

So I think I realized why I haven't been into scrapping so much lately. Back when I started scrapping I used to store all my supplies in a corner in my mom's living room. Everything would be just thrown into a tote. It was such a mess. I would drag all my stuff into the kitchen and scrap away. I could go on like this for days with no stop.

Well, about a year ago, I decided to re-do my bedroom and make a small corner my scrap area. (You can see the pics in one of my past post below). Anyways, my stuff is now all nice and organized unlike how it was before, But now I NEVER scrapbook. I want to, I just don't. The thing is, the space is so small that I feel like I am so closed in, I don't feel like doing anything in there anymore. In order to get into a cabinet, I have to close my armoire. Who wants to do that? I only get stuff done at a crop which are few and far between. I do have the 2 coming up but I have so much to do, I still don't think I will finish them all at them.

So now, what do I do to get out of this funk?

I do have one solution but it requires so much work and I really don't feel up to it. You would think I would be ecstatic, but I am not. My parents have a spare bedroom that used to be our computer room and a storage room. We no longer have a PC, both have laptops. Mom uses hers in the living room and I use mine in my bedroom. So my mom said I can use the back room as a scrap room but I have to clean it. I could have my own scrap room!! Yaaayyyy!!!

But there is one problem. There is sooooo much stuff in there. Boxes, totes, bags among other things. It's not dirty, just cluttered. It is also where she does her ironing so the iron and ironing board must stay. I really don't feel like clearing it out. Where would I put everything?? Plus Henry and I have been talking about buying a house in the near future and I don't feel like setting everything up and then have to pack it all again to move.

So now what do I do?? Deal with my small space and just make it work until I move? Clear out the back room and make it my own temporarily? Or just scrap at crops when I can and not do anything at home?? What would you do????
